has anything significant/especially great happened to you on a beach?
When I was around 10ish my mom took me to the beach at night and shined a flashlight at a sea turtle laying an endless stream of eggs then she mentioned nonchalantly that she grew up never really knowing how to swim because a whirlpool killed her brother when she was a kid. That was the night that I kinda became cool with the idea of everything having a beginning and an end in one way or another.
